Who are we?
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Boca Raton, FL. We recognize that Digital Education is transforming classrooms. However, while it is increasingly common to see computers in a school, Deloitte’s Digital Education Study shows that nine out of 10 kids use electronic devices and digital learning materials outside of school and that this use starts early. The study also shows that students who use digital technology to keep up with homework assignments, do research, and connect with teachers and classmates achieve better academic outcomes than those who don’t. Therefore, our mission is to ensure children in need are not left behind by providing them free refurbished computers.
What can you do to help our cause?
By selecting one or all of the options below, you can help DinoTech and its mission.
1) You can donate computer hardware such as old desktops, laptops, keyboards, mice, monitors, and hard drives.
2) You can give a financial donation.
3) You can volunteer your time.
How will we spend your financial gifts?
All of your financial donations will be used to refurbish old computers and to buy accessories such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and software packages. As we continue to grow, operations may move out of our home and into a small office or warehouse. Hopefully, someone will donate some space we can operate in! We promise to keep you updated on our progress and provide you with complete transparency of how we are spending your generous donations.
